Stephen A Smith Goes off on Lincoln Riley and Says He Shouldn't Be Next Cowboys Coach
By Mark Powell

Stephen A Smith is watching the Peach Bowl, in case any of you were curious.
The First Take analyst isn't happy with Oklahoma's performance, specifically in the first half, when the Sooners gave up 49 points to the Joe Burrow-led LSU offense.
I don’t want to hear another damn word bout Lincoln Riley and the @dallascowboys. And I don’t care if it IS college. You can’t give up 49 points in a HALF and deserve a promotion to the NFL Level. I don’t want to hear it.

Okay, let's dispel this rumor a bit. First, Lincoln Riley has never stated any desire to leave Oklahoma, even for the Dallas Cowboys. Second, Riley doesn't coach the Oklahoma defense -- you can blame Alex Grinch for this awful showing. Third, college football is significantly different than the pros. Kliff Kingsbury was fired by Texas Tech, yet hired by the Arizona Cardinals. None of this makes sense.
Lincoln Riley is about to be 0-3 in playoff games and has never won in January.

He sounds perfect for the Dallas Cowboys!
Jerry Jones and the Cowboys always go for the big name, but it's in Riley's best interest to keep developing a strong program down in Norman, despite the result of one CFP game.
Let the pundits falsely predict the future all they want.
