Sterling Shepard officially out for the season with torn ACL

This is what no one wanted to see. Late in the fourth quarter of the Giants vs. Cowboys game, NY wide receiver Sterling Shepard went down with a serious knee injury. He had to be carted off the field and hearts dropped inside the stadium.

On Tuesday, it was announced that Shepard suffered a torn ACL. Just like that, his 2022 season has come to a close.

Shepard is a fan favorite and he has meant so much to the organization over the years. With his contract expiring at the end of the campaign, this may have been his final game in Big Blue.
