Steve Kerr Provides Injury Updates on Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant
By Max Scoli

If Game 3 taught us anything, it's that Steph Curry needs some help ASAP. The Golden State Warriors looked like a completely different team with Klay Thompson out for Wednesday night's loss. Kevin Durant is yet to return as well.
This has many Dubs fans pleading for information regarding when their stars will come back. Plain and simple, Steph needs them out on the hardwood.
Coach Steve Kerr provided an update on both players' statuses for Game 4, but it's not the news KD fans were hoping to hear:

Klay coming back for Game 4 isn't all that surprising. Thompson was making his case to play to the Warriors coaches last night, but they ultimately held him out of the contest with the bigger picture in mind.
They know this is going to be a long series, and they didn't want to rush Klay back onto the floor, even though he could have made an impact. The statement Kerr offered up on Durant is much more problematic.
Golden State is two games away from elimination and they have absolutely no idea when their two-time NBA Finals MVP will return to the court. This team is clearly not the same without KD and his perimeter scoring.
"If Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant cannot play in Game 3 or Game 4, this series is about to swing back in the Raptors favor. ... These injuries are starting to pile up. This is their 5th Finals in 5 years. That goes to show you how remarkable LeBron James is." — @ShannonSharpe pic.twitter.com/jZQkfq5pqM

If Durant doesn't return for Game 4, Kerr better be 100 percent sure his team can win without him. Otherwise, should he return for Game 5, it may be too little too late.
