VIDEO: Tacko Fall Almost Recorded a Triple-Double With Blocks in NBA G League Game
By Karl Rasmussen
Boston Celtics rookie Tacko Fall is viewed by the organization as a longterm project, practicing his trade in the G League with the Maine Red Claws. During Sunday's game, the 7-6 giant was just one block away from recording an absurd triple-double, finishing the game with 16 points, 14 rebounds and NINE blocks. One more rejection and Fall would undoubtedly have been the talk of the town, and possibly on his way back up to Beantown.
Just watch as the opposing players feebly attempt to lay the ball in against Fall, who was virtually impenetrable in the paint. The big man even managed to record a few offensive highlights, rocking the rim with some capable and strong finishes.
Despite him coming up just shy of the ridiculous stat-line, Fall had an all-around outstanding game and the Celtics should be extremely pleased with his development. It's only a matter of time until No. 99 works his way back to Boston.
