Take a Look Inside Yankees Ace Gerrit Cole's Massive New Connecticut Mansion

When you're due to make $36 million per over the next nine years to be the ace of the New York Yankees, you're well within you're rights to splurge on a nice new place to live.
Yankees ace Gerrit Cole and his wife Amy purchased a $5.6 million mansion in Connecticut, and the decked-out interior is somehow even more stylish than the ritzy exterior of the compound.
Cole's new digs has five bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms. In addition, the home has a saltwater heated pool with a spa, a terrace with an outdoor fireplace and an outdoor kitchen. He purchased the house in Greenwich this February.
Realtor.com boasts that the house has "a gourmet kitchen is anchored by a large center island" and a "welcoming family room with a fireplace and coffered ceiling."
The master suite comes complete with a sitting area, fireplace, two dressing rooms, and two marble bathrooms.
Cole's new place, about a half-hour drive from Yankee Stadium, might actually be a bargain given all the amenities that it has on property.
