This year's All-Star Game means just a little bit more for the players involved, especially for LeBron James. The loss of Kobe Bryant cut deep into the NBA world. So, to honor him ahead of the game, Team LeBron broke the locker room huddle with "Mamba on three."

It's just the latest tribute in a line of All-Star Weekend moves to honor the former Los Angeles Lakers icon. From patches on the jerseys to renaming the All-Star Game MVP, the entire event feels like one massive way to pay homage to him.
And it's absolutely perfect. Nothing is more fitting than having the best of the best in the league right now playing in the name of Bryant.

He had a far-reaching influence in the NBA the likes of which few players could ever hope to achieve. His impact is reflected in the way that plenty of guys play their game, so it's heartwarming to see LeBron and his squad embracing the Mamba Mentality ahead of the All-Star Game.
