After a closer-than-comfortable encounter with Turkey, Team USA was able to get the job done handily against Japan. The squad is now gearing up for the second group stage, matched up with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Greece.

In Team USA's statement victory over Japan, Celtics' standout Jaylen Brown provided a game-high 20 points.
Jayson Tatum will once again sit out for the Americans, as he's still nursing the ankle injury that knocked him out of Team USA's clash with Turkey. The squad went undefeated through the first group stage, taking down the Czech Republic, Turkey and Japan. Greece will be their first test of the second group stage.

Meanwhile, Giannis and Co. will look to hand Team USA its first loss of the tournament, following the Greek Freak's 24-point double-double. Greece won two of three games in the first group stage, beating Montenegro and New Zealand but losing to Brazil.
