3 NFC Teams Impacted the Most by 49ers Walk-off Win vs Rams
The San Francisco 49ers fought back all night and took down the Los Angeles Rams on a Robbie Gould game-winning field goal set up by a beautiful pass from Jimmy Garoppolo to Emmanuel Sanders. The win puts the 49ers atop the NFC and directly impacts three other teams in the conference.
3. Los Angeles Rams
The Rams are officially out of the postseason. The team needed to win its final two games and have the Vikings lose their final two. The Rams tied the game late but blew it when Garoppolo connected with Sanders. This will be the first time the Rams miss the postseason under Sean McVay and he needs to make adjustments just to get back to the top of the division.
2. Minnesota Vikings
The Rams loss officially clinched a playoff berth for the Vikings. Minnesota is in a Wild Card spot now and can still win the NFC North by winning out paired with a couple of Packers losses. The two teams meet up Monday night and a Vikings loss would mean a Wild Card berth.
1. Seattle Seahawks
The Seahawks are one of four NFC teams with only three losses. That includes the now 12-3 49ers, who are atop the NFC for now. A Seahawks win Sunday gives them the edge until the monumental Week 17 matchup between the Seahawks and 49ers. The game will determine who gets a bye and who has to go on the road for a Wild Card game.
