Tee Higgins is the Perfect Philadelphia Eagle and They Can't Pass on Him

Constantly overshadowed by college teammates Trevor Lawrence, Justyn Ross and Travis Etienne, among others, Tee Higgins has a chip on his shoulder the size of the Liberty Bell.

Higgins possesses elite route-running ability and the experience of playing with an excellent signal-caller in Lawrence. He'd be a perfect weapon to pair with Carson Wentz, especially if the Eagles choose to address the wide receiver position in Round 1.

Higgins is teetering between late first-round and early second-round pick. Should Philly pass on his services, there's no guarantee they'll be able to wait for him at No. 53.

The 6-4 wideout has a wide frame and draws comparisons to a young AJ Green. What more do Eagles fans need to hear? He has big-game experience, is undervalued, and possesses the skill-set to mesh with Wentz and Doug Pederson's offense.

Higgins finished his Clemson career with 27 touchdowns, tied for first in program history with Sammy Watkins and DeAndre Hopkins. That's not bad company, and the Eagles would be best served to find out if Higgins can match those two Pro Bowl-caliber wideouts at the professional level.

Alshon Jeffery is on his way out the door. DeSean Jackson is aging. JJ Arcega-Whiteside is unproven. Higgins is as close to a sure bet as the Eagles will find at their draft slot without trading up.

He was born to play in Philly.
