Tennessee Just Landed Another Highly-Touted Recruit Which Should Frighten Georgia and the Rest of the SEC

Jeremy Pruitt and his assistant coaches at Tennessee are on a total hot streak right now recruiting the 2021 class. After landing a pair of big-time prospects in recent days, the Vols have added 4-star receiver Julian Nixon as well.
The 6-3, 230-pound wideout just announced his verbal pledge to Pruitt over additional offers from Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Florida, Auburn, Arkansas, Mississippi State and many others.

What in the world is going on in Knoxville right now?! First, 5-star defensive end Dylan Brooks committed on Sunday. Then, 4-star safety Kamar Wilcoxson followed suit on Monday, flipping from Florida. Now, Nixon has decided his future is in the SEC with Tennessee.
This has been an unreal 72 hours for Pruitt. His Vols have received 13 commitments from '21 players and hold the No. 5 class in the country. While it's still way too early to judge how this class will shape up, teams like Georgia, LSU, Alabama and more should take notice of what the Vols are doing right now. If they keep recruiting like this, there could be a major shift in the conference down the road.
