Tennessee Should Do Their Homework on USC Transfer JT Daniels
By Mark Powell

The COVID-19 pandemic makes recruiting extraordinarily tough, providing even more power to players in deciding exactly which coaches and programs they'd like to virtually entertain.
The transfer portal is no exception.
Former 5-star USC QB JT Daniels, who suffered a season-ending injury last season and was supplanted as starter by Kedon Slovis, is searching for a new home. With several top Power-5 programs already interested, Jeremy Pruitt and Tennessee ought to throw their hat in the ring.
Could Tennessee be a destination for transferring quarterback JT Daniels? https://t.co/eYSbTXKZ5n

The Vols' QB room is full of talent, with Jarrett Guarantano the presumed starter and Brian Maurer just behind him. Daniels would come in at a disadvantage, and would need to learn the system without much direct contact with the coaching staff.
Still, the talent is obviously there for Daniels, who won the USC starting QB job as a true freshman. He was coveted by some of the best schools in the country prior to his commitment, and there's no reason those tools should be lacking entering his sophomore campaign.
Going solely off who needs QBs and who he visited as a high schooler I think the likeliest landing spots for JT Daniels are Michigan, Washington, or Tennessee (due to Tee Martin)

The Tee Martin connection also make this match and intriguing possibility. Martin was formerly the OC at USC before coming to his alma mater.
We're just saying there's a chance.
