Chiefs Fans Will Actually Get Their First Taste of Terrell Suggs Against the Bears

Terrell Suggs initially made it clear he only wanted to be claimed by his beloved Baltimore Ravens after hitting waivers at the end of his stint with the Arizona Cardinals. Then, the Kansas City Chiefs claimed him early this week and he had a change of heart.
Suggs reported to the Chiefs, and it has become clear he was not just claimed to keep him from the Ravens -- he is going to play for KC Sunday night.

ESPN's Adam Teicher reported that Suggs will be part of the Chiefs' defensive end rotation Sunday night against the Chicago Bears. This is a real shift in the Suggs narrative in just one week.
The veteran should be able to learn fast, and the Chiefs will surely need him after a slew of injuries on defense.
The Chiefs adding Terrell Suggs either boosts their pass rush or at the very least prevents the Ravens’ pass rush from getting even stronger. Smart business by KC.

Kansas City could have held Suggs out until the postseason and used him sparingly as an extra weapon; that may be the case if he was only acquired to prevent him from becoming a Raven again. But the reality is he is in KC to help the team compete for a Super Bowl and a first-round AFC bye over the next two weeks. Game on.
