The poor Houston Texans just can't seem to ever stay healthy. And now it's officially gotten out of hand.
After JJ Watt was ruled out for the season, QB Deshaun Watson was supposed to exclaim "Play Ball!" before Wednesday's World Series Game 7 between the Houston Astros and Washington Nationals, but will be unable to due to an eye injury.
Deshaun Watson won't be able to handle the "Play Ball" call before tonight's World Series game at Minute Maid Park. He had a "minor setback" in his left eye that's been swollen since the Oakland game and needs to rest it, keep it out of the lights. He'll play against the Jaguars.

This is the play during which he hurt his left eye. Watson took a cleat to the face.

Watson has to avoid lights in order to make sure he's ready to take on the Jaguars in London this weekend, but it's still just so unlucky this team continuously deals with injury after injury. While we can certainly sympathize with Watson here, it's hard to not agree that it's pretty absurd he's unable to yell "Play Ball!" before the biggest game of the MLB season.
But here we are, and Matthew McConaughey will take his place.
Don't stop believing, Houston! We've got some Astros legends and a Houston Texans star on our side. #abc13 #takeitback https://t.co/MVP3VfMmzG

We have to say this is a pretty good fill in for Watson and the fans in Houston will not be disappointed.
