Texans Working Out LB Brandon Marshall After Recent Release From Raiders
By Daniel Marcillo

After shipping away Jadeveon Clowney to the Seattle Seahawks, the Houston Texans are looking to add a replacement linebacker to their roster.
The Texans are going to bring in seven-year veteran Brandon Marshall for a workout after the Raiders cut him at the end of preseason.

Marshall was a member of the Denver Broncos for the last six seasons before they declined his option for this year. He signed a deal with the Raiders during the offseason, but they must have seen what the Broncos saw which led them to cut ties with Marshall.
Throughout his Broncos career, he had 423 tackles, two interceptions and started in 63 games. In 2018, he only started seven games and had 42 tackles, which played into the Broncos declining the opportunity to bring him back.
I thank Oakland for the Opportunity! Unfortunately I had to use training camp to work myself back to full health, and I did just that! Ready for what God has for me next ??

Marshall is still just 29 and has the spirit to continue searching for a new home. If he lands in Houston, he would have some huge shoes to help fill following the loss of Clowney.
