The Eagles Are Completely Screwed if Miles Sanders and Brandon Brooks Can't Suit up for Playoffs
By Scott Rogust

The Philadelphia Eagles have won the NFC East after defeating the New York Giants in Week 17. But at what cost?
During the action, the Eagles, already deprived of their star offensive talent, added two more victims to the list. Rookie running back Miles Sanders hobbled off the field in the second quarter due to an ankle injury, and offensive guard Brandon Brooks suffered a shoulder injury on an extra point attempt, having to be carted off the field as a result.
#Eagles G Brandon Brooks (shoulder) and RB Miles Sanders (ankle) have been ruled out for the rest of today's game.

With the playoffs just a week away, the Eagles better hope they can suit up. If not, they're in big trouble because they'll be facing either the Seattle Seahawks or San Francisco 49ers.
Philadelphia has been marred by injuries all season long, but the impact was much greater in the second half of the season. Just look at the list of offensive and defensive starters on injured reserve or out for the regular season finale.
This isn't an excuse. Look at this. Plus add Pro Bowler Brandon Brooks. Lol pic.twitter.com/fUFRyE41M1

Yes, the Eagles were able to fight through those injuries in the final three weeks of the season. But let's be real here: those games were against the Redskins, Cowboys and Giants. That's far from elite competition.
This patchwork roster will have a very, very difficult time taking down the Niners or Hawks.
The #Eagles have clinched the NFC East. They will host the loser of #Seahawks-#49ers. The #Cowboys are officially eliminated.

But the challenge can be alleviated slightly if Miles Sanders and Brandon Brooks are in uniform and active next weekend.
