The Eagles' Quarterback Situation is an Absolute Mess and the Front Office Needs to Do Something

We're not even going to elaborate on the fact it's unclear if Carson Wentz is fully ready to go.

But, sadly for Philadelphia Eagles fans, it gets much worse from there. After watching backup Nate Sudfeld go down with a broken wrist last week, Cody Kessler suffered a concussion during Thursday night's game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, which could really complicate things.

When you're only QB remaining is Clayton Thorson, you've got some serious issues.

Sudfeld is still a candidate to return by the start of the season, but Kessler's head injury is now a concern, especially since head coach Doug Pederson said the team had faith in him to deliver during the preseason and would not bring in another QB before he left the game last night.

Assuming Kessler misses next week, that means the Birds will have just Thorson ready to go.

Certainly not the best plan, especially after seeing the clear flaws along the O-line beyond the Eagles' starters.

There's no doubt someone will have to come in for the time being if Kessler is unable to practice or play over the next week.

The list of guys out there is slim, but Philly might just need a body to get them through the preseason.
