The Jags Are Offering a Hilarious Gardner Minshew Promotional Ticket Package
By Jerry Trotta
Since Gardner Minshew took over for the injured Nick Foles in Week 1 of the 2019 season, the Jacksonville Jaguars fan base has fallen in love with the QB, both for his unparalleled looks and electrifying quarterback play.
Well, in response to that adoration, Adam Schefter has reported the Jags are offering ticket packages that include two Minshew necessities: a thick mustache and a bandana. In addition, fans will be presented the opportunity to have their picture taken on the TIAA Bank Field turf donning the look.
The "Minshew Mini Pack" is a limited edition, as it will only be available for Jacksonville's next two home games -- Oct. 13 against the Saints and Oct. 27 versus the Jets.
We're not entirely sure how many bandanas and fake mustaches the Jags currently have in their possession, but if this package doesn't sell out, we will be markedly disappointed.
After all, Minshew has brought a captivating feature to the Jags the team hasn't seen in quite some time. Since replacing Foles, the Washington State product is completing 69.4 percent of his passes (good for sixth in the NFL) while throwing for 905 yards, and seven touchdowns compared to just one interception. Those numbers equate to a 106.9 passer rating, also the sixth-best mark in the league.
He led the Jags to a comeback victory against Denver in Week 4 and has the team tied for the AFC South lead with a 2-2 record.
Minshew Mania, ladies and gents. This hilarious ticket package tells us that it's here to stay.
