The Jaguars Are a Complete Mess With the Jalen Ramsey Situation
By Kevin Aquino
Jaguars CB Jalen Ramsey made his trade request at the beginning of the 2019 NFL season, and yet neither side has blinked when it comes to giving in. While Ramsey hasn't been holding out and suited up for the first three games of the season, he's been sidelined for the past two games due to a back injury.
Team owner Shad Khan believes that Ramsey will be available to play against the Saints this Sunday after a "heart-to-heart" conversation, which makes it seem like the tenuous relationship has been repaired.
But there are also reports stating the literal opposite, with Ramsey opting to "listen to his body" concerning his back injury, leaving no guarantee that he'll play in Week 6.
And just like that, we're back right where started -- unsure about Ramsey's future with the team. Khan has said that Jacksonville would not be trading Ramsey, but you have to think he'll be swayed if the team is offered an enticing package.
At this point, something needs to be done because Ramsey is nothing but a distraction at this point.
