The Miami Marlins are not having a great season and that's not news to any Major League Baseball fan.

After tying a weekend series against the NL East rival Atlanta Braves, the Marlins prize was a home series against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Twenty-four hours after dropping the opener 15-1, the Marlins lost yet again on Wednesday, this time by the score of 9-1.

Quite possibly being so numb to the pain, the Marlins tweeted out the final score of the game, but with one error: they used the New York Mets logo instead of the Dodgers.

Whoops.

In case you were curious, yes, the Marlins sent out the correct tweet after realizing their mistake.

Unfortunately for the Marlins social media team, we live in the era of the screenshot, and the replies section of their corrected tweet was flooded with the previous error.

Following the loss to the Dodgers, Miami owns a 44-75 record on the season, while sitting a staggering 26 games behind first place in the division. If the they can take solace in one thing, it's that they have 43 games remaining on the year.

Yay?
