The Raiders Are About to Have the Most Toxic Locker Room in NFL History

After a dismal 4-12 season, the Oakland Raiders became a team looking for serious change. Just two years removed from Derek Carr's MVP-caliber season and a 12-4 showing, the silver and black were back in the cellar of the AFC West.

So, Jon Gruden did what any head coach in a new situation would do -- switched things up and sought change. And boy, did he find it.

With Richie Incognito putting pen to paper early Tuesday morning, the Raiders continued to bring in guys with consistent troubled backgrounds. Incognito, you may remember, was suspended for bullying teammate Jonathan Martin and threatened to shoot staff workers at a funeral.

Incognito isn't the only new Raider with a troubled past, though. Also representing Oakland for the first time this fall will be Antonio Brown, who was at the center of the Steelers' drama last season. He skipped the team's Week 17 game and ultimately demanded a trade in addition to having a few run-ins with the law (throwing furniture off a balcony, being investigated for a domestic dispute, and speeding dangerously on a 45 MPH road). Let's also not forget about Vontaze Burfict, who has built a sturdy reputation as being one of the dirtiest players in the NFL.

Is it change? Yeah. Is it the change that you actively seek out after a pathetic season? Probably not.
