The Raiders May Have Just Completely Screwed Antonio Brown's Attempt to Win Grievance Against NFL
By Thomas Carannante

Antonio Brown's situation may have died down considering he's out of the NFL at the moment, but let's not forget he still has an ongoing grievance with the league in an attempt to get back the $30 million he would've made if he started Week 1 on the Oakland Raiders' roster.
Sadly for Brown, he somehow hasn't yet realized every single one of his past actions is going to come back to haunt him. After being released by the New England Patriots, it's been a snowball effect for the former superstar wideout, and now it appears the Raiders are giving the NFL sufficient evidence to help defeat him in his ongoing case against the league.
Antonio Brown's grievance to recoup some his $30 million in guaranteed money took a hit in discovery when the @Raiders submitted multiple text messages from Brown to owner Mark Davis, asking for his release, per sources. The Raiders obliged Sept. 7.

The Raiders aren't so inept after all! Mark Davis is saving those texts on his Motorola flip phone! Brilliant.
But did AB really have a case to begin with? Starting with his helmet grievance, this whole saga was clearly his doing. Throw in the fact he didn't show up to practice, made that absurd video with the private phone call between him and Jon Gruden, and then openly celebrated his release from the team (after asking for it on Instagram), there was a slim chance from the get-go that the NFL was going to side with him.
Antonio Brown's $30m grievance may have hit a snag.

There was enough of a paper trail to support the Raiders and the NFL, and now the league probably has the last bit it needs to fully put this to rest.
