In this year's Super Bowl, the NFL is going all out with the Miami theme.

The man introducing the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday evening will be none other than former WWE star and accomplished actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

It's the perfect call in every way, shape and form.

The Rock, of course, was a member of the 1991 Miami Hurricanes team that won the national championship, and during his time as a wrestling star, he was billed as a Miami native.

He's got all of the Miami roots to help appeal to the city that has the prestigious honor of hosting the big event.

He also has the flamboyant personality that'll be sure to get everyone riled up for the game. The man knows a thing or two about entertaining the crowd, and his passion in announcing the teams as they trot on to the field will be palpable.

There was simply no better choice to kick things off on Sunday evening than having him do the introductions.
