The Teams That Managed to Win a Series at Yankee Stadium This Year Will Blow Your Mind

It may not be a surprise that the New York Yankees currently have the most wins in baseball this season.
Despite the various injuries plaguing the Yankee roster, the team has maintained excellent form throughout the entire season. In fact, the squad has been so good at defending its home turf that they've only lost three series' at Yankee Stadium.
The big surprise, however, is those three victorious teams are among the worst in the league. The Baltimore Orioles, Detroit Tigers and Chicago White Sox are the only teams to have won a series in the Bronx this season.

Orioles • March 28-31
Tigers • April 1-3
White Sox • April 12-14
The Orioles and Tigers are two of three teams in the AL who have yet to win 40 games, while the White Sox sit 13 games below .500. The O's took down the Yankees 2-1 in their first series matchup, but since then the Yanks have flipped the script, winning their last 16 games against Baltimore.

The Yankees get four home runs and three ejections on a wild afternoon in the Bronx. They are 41 games over .500 for the first time all season.
The tenacity of the Bombers has been the story all season. That being said, the team's slow start to begin the year has largely been forgotten about. They started 4-7 and 4.5 games behind the surging Tamps Bay Rays in the division.
The Yankees may be on their way to a lengthy postseason run while the trio of aforementioned losers vanish to irrelevancy. But I guess at least they can brag about something.
