VIDEO: This One Joe Judge Quote Proves He'll Be Able to Maximize Talent on Giants Roster
By Brendan Balsamo

There was a lot of skepticism from New York Giants fans after GM Dave Gettleman lost out on the Matt Rhule sweepstakes and hired New England Patriots special teams coordinator and wide receivers coach Joe Judge as their new head coach. However, it seems as though the more Giants fans learn about him, the more they like him. Exhibit A? This positively Belichick-ian quote on figuring out what his players (and hidden gems throughout the league) do best.

In a press conference on Thursday afternoon, Judge told the press what he was taught under Bill Belichick in New England. "Figure out what you have, let them play to their strengths," Judge said, of how he will coach his team next season.

After a 4-12 campaign that saw the passing of the torch from Eli Manning to the young, up-and-coming Daniel Jones, that might be exactly what the young Giants team needs. There are plenty of holes. How will they be filled? Wise roster manipulation, not quick fixes.
Joe Judge: "What I learned from Coach Belichick is real simple: Be flexible with your personnel. Don’t try to shove square pegs in a round hole. Figure out what you have."

I LOVE THIS QUOTE.
Build your system through the strength of your players.
After a rough stretch of head coach hirings from the Giants front office, Joe Judge might be exactly what they need in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
