This Vikings-Panthers Draft Day Trade Could Land Minnesota Star WR CeeDee Lamb
By Thomas Carannante

The Minnesota Vikings have had a bizarre offseason, highlighted by the loss of Stefon Diggs when the star wide receiver was traded to the Buffalo Bills. Heading into 2020, the Vikes need an immediate replacement for him, and they need to address it in the first round of the NFL Draft.
While there's a consensus that this class of wideouts is extremely deep, there's no doubting the likely impact of surefire prospects like CeeDee Lamb and Jerry Jeudy. The Vikings have picks No. 22 and 25, but they can (and should) package those two and try to move up to select a guy like Lamb, who'd be the perfect complement to Adam Thielen.

Lamb embodies a No. 1 target and possesses the physicality to go toe-to-toe with most defensive backs. He's 6-3 and 195 pounds, which will be a sizable target for Kirk Cousins, considering Lamb is three inches taller than Diggs. Let's not forget about his incredible hands, too.

That should help with Cousins' errant throws, right?
Sending Nos. 22 and 25 to the Carolina Panthers for the No. 7 pick should do the trick. The Panthers don't necessarily need No. 7, considering they have a lot of other needs to fill on the roster, so getting two later first-rounders will help Matt Rhule better expedite the team's rebuild. Let's be honest, Carolina is widely speculated to select defensive tackle Derrick Brown, and that's far from what they need at this point. Acquire more assets and get a bigger incoming rookie class.
Everybody wins here and neither team is adversely impacted by the other's moves.
