As NFL fans know, quarterback Jameis Winston was selected first overall by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to be the savior of the franchise. Considering his collegiate success at Florida State, many believed Winston was capable of great things in the pros.

However, four seasons in, and the jury is still out...if that.

During Week 2's Thursday Night Football matchup between the Bucs and Carolina Panthers, NFL Network showed a graphic of Winston's statistics through his first four years in the NFL, and...they're not good.

Most turnovers, interceptions, and fumbles lost since 2015. Yikes.

Despite his struggles, the Buccaneers picked up Winston's fifth-year option in 2018, and it's worth $20.9 million. After head coach Dirk Koetter was fired, many believed that Winston's time in Tampa Bay was coming to an end.

However, the Buccaneers hired Bruce Arians, who gave Winston his vote of confidence.

In his season debut against the San Francisco 49ers, Winston completed 55.6% of his passes for a total of 194 yards, one touchdown, three sacks, three interceptions (two of which were pick-sixes), and two fumbles.

Theres' still plenty of season for Winston to turn things around, but his track record so far speaks loud volumes.
