Tigers Reportedly Sign Cameron Maybin
By Adam Weinrib

Fresh off the best season of his professional career, the Detroit Tigers appear ready to reunite with one of their former top prospects.
Cameron Maybin, once thought to be a future Tigers great, before later developing into a solid addition and perfect clubhouse guy, is reportedly preparing to sign in Motown just ahead of Spring Training.
And after the 2019 he had in New York, he's earned some more security.

When all hope seemed lost for the Yanks, as the outfield somehow became more barren than ever, Maybin stepped in at the tail end of April, and all he did was crack .285 with 11 homers and provide above-average defense. Maybin was even the first off the bench in October, cracking a playoff home run in Minnesota during ALDS Game 3.
Y'all be coming in with the wildest stats ever I swear... ? Talking bout "Cameron Maybin is the first batter in MLB HISTORY to chew bubble gum while crossing second base on a home run against the Orioles on August 7, 2019" ??? Where do y'all come up with these facts?! https://t.co/n3gMpybPid

With Maybin set to return to the Tigers for 2020, we'll see if the 32-year-old outfielder will be able to come up with some clutch hitting for Detroit. His upbeat presence in the clubhouse will surely be welcomed as well.
