How to Live Stream the Game
First pitch will be thrown from Progressive Field at 7:10 p.m. ET. The game will be carried on Fox Sports Detroit and SportsTime Ohio in the local markets and is also available via live stream on the MLB Streams Subreddit.
Indians Lineup
The Indians are hot after a four-game win streak, and they have no intention of slowing down. Francisco Lindor should be able to make some contact with the ball with a team-high .289 average and Carlos Santana shouldn't be far behind considering his 21 HRs on the season. Jose Ramirez will also be expected to put some runs on the board after racking up 5 runs in his last 7 games.
But trouble could come on the mound with Trevor Bauer. Despite a season total 3.65 ERA, against the Tigers Bauer has a 4.34 ERA across just over 18 innings. He has also shown good things against Detroit tossing a four-hit shutout on June 16 to take his fifth win.
Tigers Lineup
Matthew Boyd will be on the mound against the Indians with the hope of awakening the defense and avoiding a series sweep. This could be good or bad considering Boyd has given up at least four earned runs in each of his past five starts and holds a 3.95 ERA, but he has also struck out 47 hitters in 29.1 innings across that span.
With Boyd on the mound and a lack of bat to ball contact at the plate, there will be a lot of pressure on Detroit's offense and scoring ability. They will be looking for this primarily from Nicholas Castellanos who was their only source of production in their loss Wednesday.
