Tim Tebow Heads to Mets Triple-A Injured List With Lacerated Hand

Tim Tebow will have more time to spend in his new $2.9 million mansion in Florida, as the former quarterback has been put on the Syracuse Mets' Injured List.

While Tebow has been better, he'll have to wait for his eight-stitch cut to heal before getting back on the field. The laceration was caused by the ball hitting off his hand.
Tebow's already accumulated injury concerns, having broken a bone in his right hand last year. The 2007 Heisman trophy winner has played 77 Triple-A games this year, putting up 39 hits in 239 AB. With a batting average of .163 prior to his injury, it's hard to imagine Tebow getting to the major leagues any time soon.

However, there could be a return to football in his future -- at least, in some form or fashion. Tebow hasn't played football since 2015, but if injuries start to become a concern even in baseball, it may be time to look for another sport.
