VIDEO: Tim Tebow Takes Tigers Deep After Detroit Radio Broadcast Discusses How Terrible He is
By Brendan Balsamo

Florida Gators legend and former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow has not heard the end of how bad a baseball player he is since he signed a minor league contract with the New York Mets back in 2016. It was no different on Tuesday, when during a Tebow at-bat against the Tigers, Detroit's announcers weren't letting up on him. That is, until he went yahtzee for a home run.
Don't wanna alarm anyone but... TIM TEBOW HAS GONE YARD

Just before he hit this bomb, Tigers play-by-play announcer Dan Dickerson was admonishing his batting average, saying how he's old and can't hit consistently, but won't ever get released because of how his presence positively impacts the players around him.
“Tim Tebow can probably play as long as he wants. He can’t hit a lick! He’s 32 and hit .160 at Triple A last year. But the Mets will probably keep him around just because of the impact he has on other players coming up.”

Now, Tebow is trending on Twitter because of just how amazed everyone is at the fact that he went yard. It wasn't like this home run was off a guy from Class-A ball, either. Alex Wilson surrendered the bomb and he has a career 3.44 ERA, and has been pitching in the MLB since 2013.
Tebow's first hit of the spring was a home run. Knowing Tebow's beliefs about the almighty, could this be a sign of things to come? At the very least, Dan Dickerson will ought to pump the brakes the next time the former QB steps up to the dish.
