Titans Fan Reportedly Threatened to Kill Employees at Tennessee Barbershop After AFC Championship Loss
By Scott Rogust
The Tennessee Titans had quite the run in the playoffs this year, defeating powerhouses like the New England Patriots and Baltimore Ravens. However, the team fell to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship Game, and it irked one fan in particular.
Titans fan, Timothy L. Douglas, was arrested in Nashville on Thursday for threatening to kill barbershop employees with a gun.
A police report says Douglas, wearing a Titans jersey, approached the barbershop this past Sunday in "an aggressive manner" while sticking up the middle finger. Victims say that Douglas pulled out a gun and expressed anger over the team's loss.
It was there when Douglas put the gun in an employees face and threatened to kill "everyone" before leaving the establishment. The victims indicated that Douglas was a regular customer at the barbershop.
This isn't the first time this particular Titans fan got in trouble with the law. Back in 2004 and 2006, Douglas was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and felony weapon possession.
Douglas is currently held on $70,000 bond.
Fans, never let your team losing anger you to the point of committing a crime. It just isn't worth it.
