Monday night's New York Mets-Washington Nationals game was marred by an ugly scuffle between Mets infielder Todd Frazier and Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton. However, against all odds, the two could be seen having a friendly chat before Tuesday night's game, signaling that they've buried the hatchet in record time.

And just like that, it's over as soon as it began.

This comes as a surprise, because Eaton and Frazier's post-game comments made it sound like there was some bad blood dating back to when they were teammates in Chicago that potentially fueled this scuffle.

With how quickly this got resolved, we may never know the backstory behind one of the few genuine inter-player feuds in baseball.

It's a bit disappointing that Eaton and Frazier kissed and made up so quickly (at least, covering their battle with a rug or something). For a brief second, the Mets and Nationals were actually compelling.
