Todd Frazier Breaks Silence Regarding Bizarre Feud With Adam Eaton
By Michael Luciano
During the New York Mets' 5-3 win over the Washington Nationals on Monday night, Mets infielder Todd Frazier and Nationals outfielder Adam Eaton needed to be separated after Eaton grounded into a double play and finally met Frazier at first base. Eaton claims Frazier was needling him all night long, prompting him to "be a man about it" and retaliate.
Frazier claims that the rivalry isn't a Mets-Nats thing and that it's just between him and Eaton. However, he refused to go into detail about what was said.
Frazier also called Eaton "immature," hinting at some bad blood from when they were both teammates with the Chicago White Sox.
Seriously....what's going on?
It's weird to think that a .203 hitter on a 21-25 team and a .273 hitter on a 19-28 team have one of the biggest rivalries in the sport right now, but here we are.
Here's hoping that feud never dies. It might actually give people a reason to watch Nationals and Mets baseball this season.
