Just when you think you've seen and heard it all as it pertains to Tom Brady's uncanny commitment to excellence, a story like this drops.

It just so happens that the New England Patriots gunslinger utterly despises a genuinely unavoidable dynamic of the game of football: sweat.

Per Nick Underhill of The Athletic, the six-time Super Bowl champ goes to extreme measures to ensure that the tails of his offensive lineman are as dry as possible in hot and humid conditions so that he receives a squeaky-clean pigskin on snaps. He pours baby powder down the pants of his centers.

Dan Connolly, a former guard/center who spent eight seasons in Foxborough, shared some hilarious insight into Brady's outlandish routine.

"It was the most uncomfortable thing, but he was so crazy about not getting his hands wet that he would stuff s--- down our pants," he said.

TB12 was subsequently asked to explain why he turns to such extremes if it makes his OL so uncomfortable, and his clarification makes perfect sense.

"I always tell them I don’t want to throw a wet ball on a perfectly sunny day," said the three-time MVP.

It's genuinely impossible to argue with that logic, but is it too much to ask for of Brady to let his linemen address their sweaty bases on their own terms?

Forget Tom Terrific, Brady should seriously look into endorsing the "Psycho Tom" nickname.
