Tom Brady and Julian Edelman Have Some Jokes About Rob Gronkowski's Broadcasting Debut
By Michael Luciano
For the first time since he hung up his cleats, former New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski made his broadcasting debut as an analyst for FOX's coverage of the New England Patriots-New York Giants Thursday Night Football game. As expected, he was predictably rowdy, peppering in anecdotes about his time with Tom Brady and Julian Edelman. After the game, the duo took to Instagram to jokingly rip their former teammate for giving away what they felt were too many company secrets on national TV.
It remains to be seen if Gronk will stay on TV, but his debut was a total home run.
While he was a bit over the top and goofy, he didn't let that overshadow some interesting and thoughtful analysis.
Unless...you're a Patriot worried that the loose-lipped Gronkowski blurted out their recipe for success.
Even if you're bitter about Gronkowksi dominating your favorite team, you have to agree that he was dynamite on TV, and we need him much more often.
Brady and Edelman certainly support it and want more moments they can joke about.
