As the hodgepodge of rumors regarding Tom Brady's impending free agency sweepstakes continue to stockpile, an alluring subplot has been materializing beneath the surface.

ESPN reported earlier in the week that Brady and Antonio Brown have kept in consistent contact since the embattled wideouts ugly exile from New England. In fact, the two superstars have reportedly discussed a potential reunion.

Well, the bromance between TB12 and AB continued on Friday when the former replied to the latter's inspirational post on Twitter.

We're no experts at interpreting emojis, but Brady's reply to Brown has made it abundantly clear that, at the very least, the 42-year-old has his former teammate's back. Even still, you can't help but think that this tweet will have analysts and fans buzzing about the duo reuniting this offseason.

On numerous occasions this past campaign, Brady didn't refrain from articulating his frustration with New England for cutting Brown in the wake of the pass catcher's sexual misconduct allegations.

Until it's announced where he'll be playing in 2020 (and beyond), Brady's free agency has been and will continue to be the most discussed storyline in the NFL. And his interactions with Brown prove that it might be just as wise to keep tabs on the status of the Central Michigan product as the offseason wears on.
