Tom Brady Avoids Embarrassment of Having to Eat a Strawberry in Bizarre Twitter Jeopardy Bet

It turns out that Tom Brady is a betting man.
The legendary New England Patriots quarterback made a quirky and bizarre bet ahead of Monday night's edition of the game show Jeopardy. He wagered that if returning Jeopardy winner James Holzhauer lost, he'd eat a strawberry on Instagram live.
If James loses on Jeopardy tonight I’ll eat a strawberry on IG live tomorrow.

It wasn't exactly an underdog pick. James, who pulled out a victory, extended his already absurd winning streak to 23 games, a run of dominance over his fellow contestants almost as impressive as New England's over the NFL.
The bet stemmed from Brady's notorious TB12 diet, part of which involves no strawberries under any circumstances. In fact, the quarterback hates the fruit with a visceral passion.
He wasted no time in basking in the glory of his win, gloating to Twitter about James' success and his avoidance of fruit.

Chalk up another win for the GOAT.
For those of you who had high hopes that you'd have the rare chance to witness Brady consume a fruit that's easily found in the produce section of your local grocer, I'm sorry to say that fate just wasn't on your side.
