Tom Brady's Only Request After Joining Buccaneers Proves He's the Perfect Teammate
By Jerry Trotta

If you think that Tom Brady's altruism hasn't contributed to him becoming the greatest quarterback to ever play in the NFL, you are sorely mistaken.
Throughout his career, Brady has graciously taken pay cuts so that the New England Patriots could have more flexibility in terms of dolling out money to round out their roster. That's part of what made the six-time Super Bowl champ so easy to respect, even if you hated how much he won.
As we know, Brady has moved on to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and even though his contract is quite expensive for a 42-year-old, his lone request serves as further evidence that he's the perfect teammate.
After signing with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady had just one request for the team.https://t.co/g0ed16VSVM pic.twitter.com/GXbIQ849z2

According to the Tampa Bay Times, Brady didn't see to it that Chris Godwin forked over his No. 12 jersey. The three-time MVP didn't hand over a list of players that he wanted to the Bucs to sign. He didn't even ask to have control over the offense.
Nope.
All that Brady wanted was the phone numbers of his new teammates. As if we need another example as to why the 14-time Pro Bowler has done nothing but win for the last 20 years, right?
Great story by @NFLSTROUD on Tom Brady joining the #Bucs.

Brady never asked for control of the offense. Didn’t ask for any specific players to join him. Didn’t even ask to wear #12.
There was only one request Brady had: He wanted the phone numbers of all his new teammates. https://t.co/WJ6d1vCmiO
We honestly wouldn't be surprised if Brady has already reached out to every single one of his new Buccaneers teammates. He's just that fixated on establishing a relationship with them right from the jump.
You just know that will work in Tampa Bay's benefit down the road.
