Tom Brady Already Liked Antonio Brown Post Apologizing for His Actions
Tom Brady just wanted to have an All-Pro wide receiver for once in his career (this is satire, so don't bring up that Randy guy). Antonio Brown just wants to play football again (and wear an unsafe helmet while doing it). Their forbidden love story continued on Instagram Friday, as Brady was caught liking yet another crocodile-tear stained apology post from Brown's Instagram account.
Since Brown's cameo with the Patriots in Week 2, the rotation of receivers in New England has undergone some major changes. Since Brown's departure, Brady has experienced an uncharacteristic slump, as he has just 13 passing touchdowns since Week 2, with his completion percentage hovering around 61% at this point in the season. With rumors of a return to New England swirling throughout desperate Patriot-themed subreddits, Brown's pre-Week 14 apology is his last ditch effort to return to football before he is ruled ineligible for any playoff roster.
Brown's list of people whom he has "offended" will almost certainly land him on Santa's naughty list. At least he's being truthful when he says that he "didn't handle challenges in the manner that he should have." Mike Mayock, Kevin Colbert, and Robert Kraft can all confirm this.
As for Brady, the taste of greatness he experienced when throwing to a receiver trio consisting of Brown, Josh Gordon and Julian Edelman in Week 2 will haunt him for the rest of his career.
Brown's apologies will only get him so far, as his behavior has been so erratic in this past year that nothing he says can be trusted. It's time for Brady to move on and find a new receiver to thirst after on I.G.
