Tom Brady Likes Tweet Savaging Kirk Cousins for Statistical Anomaly Related to Megachurches
By Karl Rasmussen
A Reddit user recently conducted research and concluded that James Harden plays worse in cities with the best strip clubs. Well, following that discovery, more sports fans attempted to identify random trends involving their favorite athletes.
And one of the more hilarious discoveries that has arisen is that Vikings QB Kirk Cousins performs worse in cities with the largest megachurches.
Well, a fellow NFL gunslinger seems to have enjoyed learning that tidbit of information, as Tom Brady liked Barstool's article about the statistical analysis.
In the past Cousins has faced criticism for his performance in primetime games, however maybe the limelight isn't his biggest weakness. Perhaps it's his affinity for megachurches that results in woeful outings for the 31-year-old.
According to Wikipedia, there are only two registered megachurches in the state of Massachusetts, so we're not convinced this will significantly impact his play when on the road at Gillette Stadium, but Brady still seemed to find this whole discovery amusing.
Cousins has not been shy about his religious nature in the past, having discussed in-depth his connection to Christianity. But based on these findings, his devotion to religion may actually be holding him back on the field, considering he's just 10-15 in cities with the largest megachurches.
