Tiger Woods vs Phil Mickelson PPV Golf Match Could Reportedly Incorporate Tom Brady-Peyton Manning Rivalry
By Michael Luciano
It's pretty much a prerequisite that when you move to anywhere south of the panhandle in Florida, you have take up golf. Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady, who has shown he can handle himself on the links, could get in on in on a pretty high-profile match to help cut his teeth in the golfing world.
Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are trying to put together another PPV match after their inaugural matchup in 2018, but the caveat for getting this event off the ground is that both of these golfing legends will have a partner. In a matchup that could rekindle a legendary NFL rivalry, one golfer will play with Brady while the other will play with Peyton Manning.
If this hypothetical golf matchup will go anything like the pair meetings on the football field, we'd imagine that Manning would have the lower score, but whomever Brady is paired with will end up with the victory.
Brady and Manning are the two greatest quarterbacks to ever strap on a helmet, as the pair have thirteen Super Bowl appearances, eight Super Bowl wins, and eight MVPs between them. Even on the golf course, the pair's friendly rivalry could once again turn this PPV event into a show for the ages.
