Larry Fitzgerald's Dad Says Raiders Are Prepared to Offer Tom Brady a Huge 2-Year Deal

Remember when reports indicated that the New England Patriots were prepared to offer longtime quarterback Tom Brady a contract worth $30 million per year? Well, they now have some competition.

According to Larry Fitzgerald Sr., father to the legendary Arizona Cardinals wide receiver, the Las Vegas Raiders are prepared to offer Brady a two-year, $60 million deal.

Brady's presence would certainly fill seats in Allegiant Stadium.

Las Vegas entered the fray back during UFC 246, where Brady was spotted talking to Raiders owner Mark Davis in the crowd. While many believe it was just both parties playing nice, the Raiders are much more serious.

At the age of 42, Brady is entering the open market for the first time in his career. Given he has six Super Bowl titles to his name, the expectation is that he's looking to cash in. However, that's not necessarily the case.

Given he had very little complementary weapons on the Patriots offense this past season, Brady is looking for a team who can provide him with a quality offense. In fact, reports indicate that the Patriots are looking to target high-end, potentially available players like Cincinnati Bengals wideout AJ Green and Los Angeles Chargers tight end Hunter Henry once the new league year begins on Mar. 18, to entice Brady to stay in New England.

That's not to say that the Raiders wouldn't do the exact same thing, considering they have over $50 million in cap space to spend on the open market.

However this goes, the Brady sweepstakes is going to be fun to watch in the next month.
