People have speculated for years about when father time would catch up to Tom Brady. He's shown moments in the past of possible decline, only to show up on the biggest stages and prove us all wrong.
Sunday against the Bills was another one of those performances that brings into question how much longer he can be a top-tier quarterback. Despite the controversial victory, Brady completed less than half of his passes for an average of 3.8 yards, giving him an abysmal QBR of 10.3.
Tom Brady threw for 150 yards and no TDs. As a team New England ran for only 73 yards. The Bills D forced them into 7 three and outs...and they still won. 4 INTs by Buffalo killed them

Yes, a lot of credit has to be given to the Bills and their elite defense. However, it isn't exactly like Brady had been lighting it up prior to this game. Other than a great performance against a pathetic Dolphins team, he's looked fairly average.
And the Patriots defense just allowed their first touchdown in 19 quarters. Amazing run comes to an end.

While it's been a subpar first four games from Brady, it's still way too early for the hot takes. He's had numerous poor showings in the regular season over the past few years. And each time this happens, experts and fans boldly declare he's finally washed up only to be proven wrong in the playoffs.
For whatever reason, Brady seems to always step his game up when it matters most. Six rings aren't a coincidence, especially when a team has one of the most clutch athletes in sports history.
So before declaring age has finally gotten to Brady, let's see what he does come January when the playoffs begin.
