Tom Brady Seems on Board With an 18-Game NFL Season

Tom Brady has been a physical phenomenon. Although the 42-year-old quarterback can't quite sling it like he used to, he is still one of the best signal callers in the league and continues competing for Super Bowls year after year.
Brady still has shown no signs of slowing down and could be playing for at least a few more years. And on top of that, he might be open to extending the regular season to 18 games.

When asked about potentially extending the season to 18 games, Brady responded by acknowledging how difficult it is to prepare for the games and to recover from them. But he ended the the statement with: "There’s a lot of work in advance that needs to be done to make that happen. So... I love football.”
It seems like while the Patriots quarterback knows it'd be difficult task, he's open to playing more of the sport he loves. Brady's competitive nature is admirable, especially considering the amount of playoff games he's played on top of the regular season.

The NFL is a physically-draining sport that can lead to devastating injuries, so extending the regular season is complicated. But if the league ever decides to go that route, you can bet that Brady is fully ready for the challenge.
