VIDEO: Tony Ferguson Shows off Coronavirus Test Before UFC 249 and it's Tough to Watch
By Michael Luciano

UFC 249 will finally go down this Saturday in Jacksonville, and the revised card pits Tony Ferguson against the ultra-aggressive Justin Gaethje in the co-main event. As part of the preparation for the event, which will take place behind closed doors, all fighters have to undergo strict coronavirus testing. Ferguson showed us what a coronavirus test looks like, and those who don't like to see objects inserted deep into someone's nose might feel a bit squeamish looking at it.
Ferguson will take on Gaethje in the main event, while Henry Cejudo will defend his bantamweight championship against Dominick Cruz.
In a major contrast of styles, Ferguson hasn't won a fight via knockout since 2014 despite his unmatched ability to end fights covered in blood, while Gaethje routinely ranks at or near the top of most lists in terms of punches thrown and punch accuracy. The longer this fight goes on, the better chance Ferguson has at pulling off the victory.
Justin Gaethje has 8 minutes to finish Tony Ferguson. Period.

In the first 8 minutes, Justin has a real chance to win the fight.
If the fight enters that 9th minute, it’s gonna be all Tony from that point on. #UFC249
In one of the first major US sporting events since the pandemic officially started, the wily Ferguson and the violent Gaethje will square off against each other in a fight that could shape the future of the lightweight division.
