Tottenham now 5 points clear at the top after win over Crystal Palace

Spurs are in first place of the EPL table and they're on fire of late

Is it time to start dreaming for Tottenham fans? This team can't stop winning and they've been close to perfect to start the season. With THFC starting the new matchday off with a showdown with Crystal Palace, all eyes were on Spurs to see how they'd do in London.

Well, the meeting proved to be no problem, with Tottenham recording an easy 2-0 win. An own goal opened the scoring for Spurs, while Heung-Min Son found the back of the net on a senational build-up play from the North London giants as well. This was a thing of beauty:

Crystal Palace was able to score in stoppage time to make things 2-1. However, there was no miracle at the end for them.

With the victory, Tottenham is now at 26 points for the campaign. They're in first place, with a game in hand, five points clear of both Manchester City and Arsenal. Fans are thinking about an EPL title. They'll surely be in contention the rest of the way.
