VIDEO: Trae Young Ends up With 5 Free Throws After Brutal Shooting Foul Call and Series of Techs
By Adam Weinrib

Let the record state that the Philadelphia 76ers who got penalized for arguing this call were...firmly in the right. Midway through a competitive battle in Atlanta, Trae Young rose up and fought through the defense here, and was rewarded for being out of control with a three-shot foul. Tobias Harris disagreed. So did Brett Brown. And all it did was give Young two more shots to sink additional buckets.
The refs actually called this a shooting foul on Tobias Harris and Harris and Brett Brown both got technicals for arguing it, so Trae Young turned it into *five* free throws pic.twitter.com/NwHSz6nkVQ

Was that truly a foul? Ehh, I'd give it a firm, "Probably not," with a hefty dose of home cooking. But you simply cannot get worked up enough about it to give Young an extra pair of freebies, especially not in a close game.
Surprise, surprise, the Hawks came out on top at home.

Who would've guessed they'd get the final laugh after such a questionable call?
