VIDEO: Trae Young Helped Off Court After Suffering Concerning Ankle Injury
By Jerry Trotta

This is just the last thing that common NBA fans, let alone Atlanta Hawks buffs, wanted to see materialize during Tuesday night's slate of games. Sophomore point guard and budding star Trae Young was forced from tonight's tilt against the Miami Heat after suffering an ankle injury. Footage shows that Young's right foot landed on the shoe of Justice Winslow upon getting tied up in a jump ball, forcing his ankle to twist in a direction it simply never should. The former Oklahoma Sooners superstar laid on the hardwood in palpable pain before ultimately being helped off the court.

Ugh.
There's no way to tell of the severity of the injury at this time, but observers noted that Young was unable to put any pressure on his right foot while he was assisted to Atlanta's locker room. That's obviously never a good indicator.
Young is helped off the court but it doesn't look like he can put much weight on his right ankle.

Young has since been ruled out for the rest of tonight's game. This could be a truly devastating blow to the Hawks, but fans across the land will surely be hoping for some good news sooner rather than later.
