The Trail Blazers are coming off of a grueling Game 7 win in Denver two days ago. They now have to head to Oracle Arena to face the defending champions. To make matters worse, they might be without a key role player in Rodney Hood, who is questionable for Game 1 with a knee injury he suffered against the Nuggets.
While the challenge will be a daunting one for the Blazers, they might be able to catch the Warriors off guard. Golden State is still without Kevin Durant and are riding high after a dramatic win over the Rockets. Portland could be in a much better rhythm coming into the game and can take advantage by taking an early lead.
Don't be fooled by @trailblazers Game 7 celebration.

They took the opportunity to enjoy the moment, recognize the accomplishment, but they've flushed it and have their sights set on a bigger goal.#ripcity pic.twitter.com/52OmCPmUy6
The Warriors proved why they've been to four straight Finals with the poise they showed against the Rockets. Steph Curry and Klay Thompson broke out of their shooting slumps in a big way. The Splash Brothers combined for 60 points in Game 6 against the Rockets.
If Golden State stays locked in, Portland can't matchup with them. The Warriors simply have too much fire power for the Blazers to keep up with. With an excited crowd behind them, the Warriors can run away with this one very quickly if they get some momentum.

This one is going to be a battle. Will Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum be able to help Portland capture the upset, or will Golden State prove to be too much? We'll find out on Tuesday night.
