Travis Kelce Expected to Play Through Pain in Divisional Round Battle With Texans
By Jerry Trotta

Did you really expect the warrior who is Travis Kelce to not have a say in the Chiefs' efforts to advance to the AFC Championship Game?
Despite being limited in practice all week with knee soreness, Patrick Mahomes' security blanket is expected to be on the field for Sunday's Divisional Round clash with the Houston Texans.
#Chiefs TE Travis Kelce, listed as questionable, is expected to play today. My understanding is that he’s dealing with IT band tightness that’s causing a small bit of pain. But he'll be OK.

Kelce's importance to Kansas City's offense can't be overstated. The five-time Pro Bowler has logged 97 receptions for 1,229 yards and five touchdowns in 2019. He's battled through bumps and bruises all season long, but has still managed to start all 16 games and play 92% of the Chiefs offensive snaps.
Want more good news Kansas City devotees? NFL Network's James Palmer understands that Kelce practiced without a brace on Friday. The star TE might be hobbled, but it appears that he will be all systems go on Sunday.
Yes Kelce will play. He had a good day on Friday after the injury popped up in Wednesday’s practice. Watching him this week he went through practice with no brace on his knee either. https://t.co/sA4tBvGHvn

There wasn't much doubt concerning Kelce's status for the do-or-die clash, but this update will surely have Chiefs Nation breathing a colossal sigh of relief.
